Abstract

This article constitutes a partial report of a research on the role of the expert knowledge in the social construction of citizenship. The problem of this present study is formulated from the analysis of the think tank as "technologies of government" of the knowledge society. The methodological approach is case study and discourse analysis, through the study of the three more influential think tanks in Chile (Centro de Estudios Público, Instituto Libertad y Desarrollo y Fundación Chile 21). The results of the analysis appear as a discursive repertoire on the individualization of inequality, identifying thematic categories and discursive relationships in the contents of repertoire.
