Education in management has been the way in which professionals have acquired their preparation facing the challenges of their practice. Its growing importance within the contexts of tertiary education and business make the reflections of this practice compelling. The purpose of this paper is to consider the education in business as a significant constituted under certain conditions of possibility, which consider it as a particular moment of historical discourses from which it acquired their identity. I present my understanding of managerial and critical-education discourses that underlie the practice of business in our societies. These positions apparently found contribute towards a closer look at a central question concerning the relevance of this practice: What do we do when we educate in business?Published
