PAPERS QUALITY CRITERIA

To comply with Psicoperspectivas' quality standards, all research articles must exhibit the following characteristics:
a) approach, thematic coverage and documentary type correspond to those established by the journal;
b) document sent is anonymous;
c) total number of words is limited to 8,000;
d) the submitted manuscript adheres to the American Psychological Association 7th ed. (2019) style and to the JARS standards for communication of research in Psychology (https://www.apa.org/pubs/journals/resources/apa-style-jars);
e) title and abstract are relevant and informative, its language is clear, citations and references are accurate;
f) the manuscript describes relevant and original research, and contributes to the knowledge of the discipline;
g) research topics, approaches, objectives, and contribution are clearly defined;
h) theoretical background is relevant;
i) literature review is accurate, updated and of high quality (50% or more of the works consulted were published in the last five years);
j) the manuscript is coherent, provides accurate and substantial information, describes suitable and proper methodology, analyses are adequate, outcomes are correctly interpreted, discussion is meaningful and limited to the results.
