The journal's stated primary objective is the dissemination of original research within the domain of Psychology, particularly regarding interdisciplinary connections with social sciences. In addition, Psicoperspectivas aims to provide a critical assessment of contemporary social challenges, exploring potential avenues for transformation and social change.</p> <p>The journal publishes original and unpublished research articles on qualitative, quantitative or mixed research, literature reviews and systematization of interventions.</p> es-ES Call for papers: THEMATIC SECTION: Youth participation in restrictive institutional and social contexts: better understanding their experiences and intervention practices https://psicoperspectivas.cl/index.php/psicoperspectivas/announcement/view/76 <p>In a joint initiative with the Canadian journal <strong><a href="https://www.erudit.org/fr/revues/rts/">Travail social</a></strong> with the aim of understanding the experiences of children and young people participating in restrictive institutional and social contexts, as well as the strategies they implement to circumvent, challenge, and transform these restrictions, seeking to contribute to the development of new knowledge about participation in restrictive contexts or institutions, we invite proposals for articles that explore—from a critical perspective—issues related to both the contexts of participation and structural and institutional limitations, as well as experiences, practices, and strategies for participation in such restrictive contexts.</p> <p>Contributions —whether quantitative, qualitative, or mixed— must meet the criteria outlined in the <a href="https://www.psicoperspectivas.cl/index.php/psicoperspectivas/about/submissions"><strong>Guidelines for Authors</strong></a> available on our website, be original and unpublished, and be written in English, Portuguese, or Spanish. To be considered for publication, the Editorial Team must receive the following documents:<br /><br />a. Proposal: A written document including guest editors' name, a tentative title and a summary of the proposal (maximum 1000 words).<br /><br />b. Guest Authors: A list of at least eight (8) national or international guests, whose participation is duly accredited, (a commitment letter must be attached), their institutional affiliation should be clearly indicated, include a brief summary of high impact work in the field published in the last five years.<br /><br />c. Abstracts: Each of the invited authors should attach an article proposal including title and abstract. The latter should include: the problem where the research is positioned, research objectives, methodological procedures applied, main results and conclusions of the research process.
