Resistance strategies carried out by a women organization confronting the socio-environmental conflict at Quintero Bay, in the central region of Chile, are analyzed from theoretical perspectives provided by Latin American feminisms and eco feminisms. The role of this organization and its resistances towards extractivism and the consolidation of a sacrifice zone are evidenced through this ethnographic work based in interviews and participant observations. Among the findings of this research, stands out these women's organization of educational strategies and women empowerment based in caring practices, social mobilizations and participation in community and public spaces, the fact that they have recoursed to law to denounce their violated rights, and the networks they have established with other local, regional and national networks. This strategies show a feminist political ecology under construction.
