La psicoterapia como viaje transcultural

Abstract

In this article the author poses, based on his extensive and diverse clinical experience with families pertaining to different cultural and social contexts, some reflections on the challenges that must be faced when working with families from cultures different than that of the therapist. The document is based on the author´s conviction of the need for therapists to review their assumptions concerning diversity and their prejudices in order to foster their personal resources and to develop a real ability of rapprochement.
