Social construction of sexualities refers to the interweaving of body and subjectivity, since bodies are the ones sustaining the sexed subjectivity of the subjects. Trauma, as a concept related to the sexual sphere, is part of the history of clinical psychology itself, as it was exposed by psychoanalysis at the end of the 19th century. From this perspective, trauma implies a rupturing, unexpected experience, which cannot be anticipated, foreseen, much less avoided, remaining repressed to be symbolized only at a later time. Trauma is an event that abruptly fractures the continuity between the self and its being, and it is an irruption of the real which devastates the symbolic order. Multiple studies indicate the presence of a series of sequelae in different psychological and social areas, many of which may persist over time, thus constituting ruptures in different areas of development. This edition of Psychoperspectives aims to approach the clinical work developed in the field of sexual violence, gender violence in the context of couples, sexual abuse in childhood, incest, among others. Contributions included investigate different contexts and local scenarios that contribute to the knowledge regarding the phenomenon of sexual violence, trauma and reparation; the topics addressed include psychotherapeutic interventions, psychosocial approaches with preventive strategies and various interesting methodological experiences in relation to how these experiences affect the subjective adult and infantile-juvenile field.Downloads
