Abstract

This article is framed in the study of protection programs for wounded childhood, specifically the Chilean case, through a program bided by the National Children Service. This protection programs haven't been an exception to the privatizing strategies that the Chilean State begun during Pinochet's dictatorship lasting until today. This process has also installed New Public Management as the main frame for the creation of management and governance devices of the psychosocial interventions designed for these programs. Through semi-structured interviews and content analysis, this paper tries to tackle some of the socio-technical assemblages that affect the production of the interventions and the actions of the program's operators.
